500 Student Visa
The Student visa (subclass 500) replaced all previous student visa subclasses (570–576) and is the current visa for international students studying in Australia. It covers all course types including ELICOS, vocational education, higher education, postgraduate research, and schools. This visa lets you:
- Study full-time at a registered Australian education provider (CRICOS)
- Bring eligible dependant family members to Australia
- Work up to 48 hours per fortnight while your course is in session, and unlimited hours during scheduled course breaks
- Dependant family members may also work (unlimited hours if you are enrolled in a postgraduate research degree)
590 Student Guardian Visa
The Student Guardian visa (subclass 590) is a temporary visa for a parent or suitable guardian who needs to come to Australia to provide welfare support for a student visa holder who is:
- Under 18 years of age, or
- 18 years or older but requires special care due to exceptional circumstances
This visa lets you stay in Australia for the same duration as the student you are supporting. You may not work on this visa, but you may study ELICOS for up to 3 months.
485 Temporary Graduate Visa
The Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) allows international students who have recently graduated from an Australian CRICOS-registered institution to live, work, and study in Australia temporarily. You must be aged 35 or under when you apply (exceptions apply) and must have held a Student visa in the last 6 months. There are three streams:
- Post-Higher Education Work stream — for graduates with a degree-level qualification or higher (Bachelor, Masters, or Doctoral degree). Stay is usually 2 to 3 years depending on your qualification. You may work unrestricted hours in any sector.
- Post-Vocational Education Work stream — for graduates with an associate degree, diploma or trade qualification that is closely related to an occupation on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). Stay is up to 18 months.
- Second Post-Higher Education Work stream — for current Temporary Graduate visa holders who graduated from an institution in a regional area of Australia. Stay is between 1 and 2 years depending on the regional location of your institution and where you currently live.
Hong Kong and British National Overseas (BNO) passport holders may be eligible for a 5-year stay across most streams. Eligible TGV holders may also be able to apply for a Skills in Demand (subclass 482) visa while still in Australia.
500 学生签证
500学生签证是目前澳大利亚唯一的学生签证类别，取代了原有的570至576等子类别。适用于所有在澳注册教育机构（CRICOS）就读的国际学生，涵盖语言课程、职业教育、本科及研究生课程等。持有此签证，你可以：

590 陪读签证
590陪读签证是一种临时签证，适用于需要赴澳照顾学生签证持有者的父母或合适监护人，要求被照顾的学生：
- 未满18周岁，或
- 年满18周岁但因特殊情况需要特别照顾
持有此签证，你可以与学生同期在澳居住。此签证不允许工作，但可以参加最长3个月的语言课程（ELICOS）。
485 毕业生临时签证
485毕业生临时签证允许在澳大利亚CRICOS注册教育机构毕业的国际学生在澳临时居住、工作和学习。申请时须年满35周岁以下（特殊情况除外），且在过去6个月内持有学生签证。签证分为三类：
- 高等教育毕业工作类（Post-Higher Education Work stream） — 适用于持有学士、硕士或博士等本科或以上学历的毕业生。签证有效期通常为2至3年，具体视学历而定。可在澳大利亚任意行业不限时间工作。
- 职业教育毕业工作类（Post-Vocational Education Work stream） — 适用于持有副学士、文凭或职业技能证书的毕业生，所学专业须与中长期战略技能清单（MLTSSL）上的职业密切相关。签证有效期最长18个月。
- 第二高等教育毕业工作类（Second Post-Higher Education Work stream） — 适用于当前持有毕业生临时签证、且毕业院校位于澳大利亚偏远地区的申请人。签证有效期为1至2年，具体取决于毕业院校所在地区及现居住地区。
香港特区护照及英国国民（海外）护照（BNO）持有人在大多数类别下可申请最长5年有效期。符合条件的毕业生临时签证持有人还可在澳大利亚境内申请技能需求签证（482签证）。

วีซ่านักเรียน (subclass 500) เป็นวีซ่านักเรียนประเภทเดียวในปัจจุบัน ซึ่งแทนที่วีซ่าประเภท 570–576 ทั้งหมด ครอบคลุมหลักสูตรทุกประเภทที่จัดโดยสถาบันการศึกษาที่จดทะเบียน CRICOS ในออสเตรเลีย วีซ่านี้ให้สิทธิ์คุณ:

วีซ่าบัณฑิตชั่วคราว (subclass 485) อนุญาตให้นักศึกษาต่างชาติที่สำเร็จการศึกษาจากสถาบันที่จดทะเบียน CRICOS ในออสเตรเลียอยู่ ทำงาน และเรียนในออสเตรเลียชั่วคราว ผู้สมัครต้องมีอายุไม่เกิน 35 ปีเมื่อยื่นคำขอ (มีข้อยกเว้นบางกรณี) และต้องเคยถือวีซ่านักเรียนในช่วง 6 เดือนที่ผ่านมา มีสามประเภท:
- Post-Higher Education Work stream — สำหรับผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท หรือปริญญาเอก อนุญาตให้อยู่ได้ 2 ถึง 3 ปีขึ้นอยู่กับวุฒิการศึกษา สามารถทำงานได้ไม่จำกัดชั่วโมงในทุกสาขา
- Post-Vocational Education Work stream — สำหรับผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับอนุปริญญา ประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ หรือคุณวุฒิสายอาชีพ ซึ่งต้องเกี่ยวข้องกับอาชีพในรายการ MLTSSL อนุญาตให้อยู่ได้สูงสุด 18 เดือน
- Second Post-Higher Education Work stream — สำหรับผู้ถือวีซ่าบัณฑิตชั่วคราวอยู่แล้ว ซึ่งสำเร็จการศึกษาจากสถาบันในพื้นที่ภูมิภาคของออสเตรเลีย อนุญาตให้อยู่ได้ 1 ถึง 2 ปีขึ้นอยู่กับที่ตั้งของสถาบันและที่อยู่ปัจจุบัน
ผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางฮ่องกงและ BNO อาจมีสิทธิ์อยู่ได้ถึง 5 ปีในหลายประเภท ผู้ถือวีซ่าบัณฑิตชั่วคราวที่มีคุณสมบัติยังอาจสามารถยื่นขอวีซ่า Skills in Demand (subclass 482) ขณะอยู่ในออสเตรเลียได้อีกด้วย
